     After Most Distinguished Character on the American Frontier, Robert Looney... and Some of His Descendants, Vol. I, by Madge Looney Crane and Phillip L. Crane became available July 1, 1998, many comments have been received from subscribers.  David D. Salmon wrote "Your discovery and publication of the old and new documents is so comprehensive that many things previously baffling or isolated now finally connect."  David suggested that we write down some of the important new historical items that are presented in this book.  It has been pointed out that other researchers would benefit form our view on various topics discussed in our book.  We will attempt to do this on this web page under the title of "What's New in  Looney Book?" by  articles below.  The plats and maps with the credit line Phillip L.
