EXTANT RECORDS

Referring back to the chart under "INTRODUCTION", three parishes -- Lonan (1718), Patrick (1714), Rushen (1712), apparently have extant parish registers that begin after the birth/baptism of Robert (1) Looney. The earliest records in Lonan (1718) were probably even after Robert's marriage.

If Robert (1) Looney's parents were in any of these three parishes at the time of his birth/baptism, records concerning his birth/baptism may never be found.

A search will be made of the early records of these three parishes to see if any Looneys lived there. More will be posted later on this subject.
